Barnsley Hospital Charity have launched a Covid-19 Appeal.
The Covid-19 Appeal has been created to support, recognise and for the benefit of Barnsley Hospital staff and patients in relation to Covid-19.
Our amazing staff and volunteers are going above and beyond their call of duty to care for the most vulnerable members of our society so we want to support them.
We are so proud of everyone’s efforts here in Barnsley. We have an amazing hospital family which includes all those on the front line directly caring for patients as well as all those making it possible, working tirelessly together to make a difference.
We have set up two different ways to support our Covid-19 Appeal;
You can donate a gift through our Amazon Wish List here
The Amazon Wish List is made up of items which will be made into care packages for staff at Barnsley Hospital. However, we have also added a number of digital tablets. These tablets will help the hospital allow some of our patients who do not have access to a mobile device of their own to keep in touch with their family’s at a time when they cannot have visitors. We understand that during restricted visiting access, it can be difficult not to see loved ones if they are in hospital so we hope this will make the time our patients spend in hospital a little easier.
