Could you be Santa?

You might think it’s a little early to even think about Christmas yet, it is only September! However fear not, because all we’re asking for is a little bit of help in planning our Christmas project!

We’re on the lookout for Santa and his elves and we want to know whether you’d be up for the job of spreading Christmas cheer throughout Barnsley in December! Our Santa’s grotto will be held in Barnsley Alhambra and we need all the help we can get to help build the perfect Christmas experience.

If you feel that you could give up some of your time in December, we’d love to hear from you and are happy to be flexible and work around your availability (we know how busy Santa gets in December). Perhaps you’d like to arrange something as a group and get a team of elves and a Santa together?

We do have a few requirements for our perfect Santa:

• Must be jolly
• Must be good with kids
• Must be generous
• Must love all things Christmassy!

We’re also on the lookout for some Christmas decorations to make up our grotto and would hugely appreciate anything you can donate.

All money raised from our Santa’s grotto will go towards the Tiny Hearts Appeal to help support the development of a brand new Special Care Baby Unit which will be home to all our special care babies. We’re aiming to make £1 million over the next two years so every penny really will help!
